With the high demand for Queensland Walnut prevalent despite limited resource availability, Paldao is helping to fill the void. Increasingly used in furniture and cabinetry, as well as architectural projects, musical instruments and joinery, Paldao is a species on the rise. The tree itself is a large growing hardwood, making it suitable for, often very wide, quarter-cut veneer. Some trees display a beautiful fiddleback figure which is highly sought after in export markets.
