Jarrah trees grow on the iron and aluminium rich plains of south-west Western Australia. They are slow growing and tend to grow with long straight trunks, increasing yields. This, combined with the rich red appearance which reflects the landscape from which it originates, has made Jarrah a favourite throughout Australia and also overseas.
