Initially founded by Robert Filip to fill a niche market in wholesaling decorative timber veneers from North Queensland species, Matilda Veneer has steadily grown to specialise in the production of sliced and rotary veneer of many other Australian species as well as species from all over the world. More recently, Matilda Veneer has invested in engineered natural veneers, which offers designers and architects colour matched veneers without variation.
